I finally decided to bite the bullet and sleep train because….

My baby was waking up every hour at night and naps were hard every time

My biggest worry about sleep training was….

The crying and that we would have to hear him cry for days or a week

Before sleep training my baby slept….

He woke up every hour and needed either his pacifier or a feeding to go back to sleep

After sleep training my baby sleeps….

10-12 hours straight without a feeding or a pacifier! It’s been amazing!!!!

The sleep training process itself was….

A lot easier than I thought. We had one hard night and then after that he pretty much got it. He cried a total of maybe an hour and a half the first night, but then the next night he maybe cried 20 minutes, then the next night he didn’t cry at all! It was amazing!! I couldn’t believe it.

Did your attachment with your baby change in a positive or a negative way after sleep training?

Positive. Now bedtime isn’t a struggle. He just lays down without crying and usually goes to sleep within 5 minutes. I didn’t think my baby was capable of this! It’s been such a blessing

Do you feel like sleep training was a healthy choice for baby, you, and your family?

Definitely healthy

How would you respond to hearing, “Sleep training is selfish”?

It’s far from selfish. My baby is sleeping better than he’s ever slept and he wakes up so happy now.

How many nights did it take for baby’s nighttime sleep to improve and how many nights did it take for baby’s naps to improve?

One night for nighttime and maybe a week for naps

Would you recommend BST to a friend and if so, who and why?

Yes!!! I would recommend it to anyone who’s baby cannot sleep through the night. It was the best thing for our whole family. We got our sleep back and I’m forever grateful for the BST method.
