The Baby Sleep Trainer Consultant course consists of a 2 part in-person and home study program.

Start off your training with a 3-day intensive, in-person course with Natalie Willes, The Baby Sleep Trainer. While many sleep training consultant courses are web-based, learning through a one-on-one course with a veteran of the sleep training industry will ensure you acquire everything you need to know to be a successful sleep consultant. In fact, this 3-day course consists of 24 hours of direct training, far more than would be accomplished in a typical 8 week “1 hour-a-week webinar” distance training course. On your first day in class, you will be taught everything you need to know about sleep and children, from newborn through age 3.5.

On day two, class will focus specifically on how to run a sleep training business, how to set up a website, what to include on your intake forms, how much to charge, where to find clients, and everything in between.

Finally, on the last day of your intensive 3 day course, you will experience a real consultation with a brand new client! You will also learn how to write training plans, utilize sleep logs, and learn to support clients through researching and learning from real case-studies.

After the 3-day course concludes, you will leave with various written resources to refer back to as you work with clients, in addition to video recordings of actual sleep consultations conducted by Natalie Willes. In addition to all of the above resources, you will also leave with website materials ready to be completed with your personal information and pictures. Once you get home, get ready for extensive hands-on-support from Natalie Willes herself for 4 months. Enjoy once-weekly calls with Natalie and your classmates. You can ask any questions you’d like, learn from one another’s clients, and further build your expertise. Also take advantage of daily email communication with Natalie when issues come up that cannot wait for the weekly call.

Finally, you will gain exclusive access to the Baby Sleep Trainer Consultants facebook group where you can ask real time questions and get real time answers from both Natalie Willes herself and other certified sleep consultants. Any time you need help, help will be there! Additionally, your website, image, and contact information will be featured on the Baby Sleep Trainer website directory.

Learning the absolute do’s and don’t of a child’s sleep environment will go a long way to ensure sleep training success both initially and over the long term.

An Overview of Newborn Sleep and How to Create a Sleep Training Plan

While a newborn cannot be sleep trained, there are many ways to assist new babies to sleep more soundly. Additionally, from a business perspective, many parents will come to a sleep consultant to seek help in the initial weeks, and having this knowledge will allow you to help them establish good sleep habits early on, instead of turning them away until a child is “old enough” to sleep train. Furthermore, much of what pertains to newborn sleep is a foundation for sleep later on at older ages. Learn how to introduce sleep training to a family, and how to create a detailed sleep training plan. (Elaborate with something like: Including researched and prepared answers to questions that skeptical or hesitant parents typically ask. Understand how to properly assess each child in order to develop the most appropriate and accurate sleep training plan).

3:30-5:00 pm

Nighttime and Daytime Sleep Training Method

Like the nighttime sleep method, the daytime nap method can also be used as a baseline with families of varying backgrounds, and is applicable to children of all ages from infants through toddlers.
